Legal information

Privacy policy

This is a crêperie’s website, not an advertising business. Here is exactly what it knows about you, and what it does not do with it.

In short

  • No sign-up is required to browse this site.
  • Nothing is sold, shared or exchanged with anyone.
  • No data leaves the European Union.
  • No advertising, no profiling, no embedded social networks.

Who is responsible for your data

The business identified in our legal notice decides what is collected on this site and what it is used for. It is therefore the business you contact to exercise your rights.

Server logs

Like any website, this one automatically records the requests it receives: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser used. These logs are kept to secure the site and to make sense of a failure. They serve no other purpose and are never matched against an identity. French law requires them to be kept for one year.

Audience measurement

We measure how the site is used, to know which pages actually help — the menu, the opening hours, the directions. This is done with software we host ourselves: the figures go to no advertising giant.

  • No cookie is stored for this measurement.
  • Your IP address is truncated before being recorded, so it cannot identify you.
  • You are not followed from one site to another: the measurement stops at this site.
  • The data stays in Europe and is deleted after thirteen months.

The measurement software is hosted on our behalf by SC Digital Services, which acts on our instructions and may not use the data for any other purpose.

Cookies

This site stores only the cookies it needs to work. No advertising cookies, no trackers. That is also why you were not asked to accept anything when you arrived.

When you write or call us

If you reach us by telephone or email, we keep what you tell us for as long as it takes to answer you and deal with your request. A booking taken over the phone is written down for that service only.

Your rights

You may ask what information we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to its use. Simply ask us, by telephone or in person. We reply within one month.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris — cnil.fr.

Changes

This page will change as the site does: the online menu, and later bookings, will add processing that will be described here before it goes live.
